Dave Hackett is the author cartooning books, Cartoon Your Head Off, Cartoon Your Big Slimy Brains Out, Cartoon Dave's No-Rules Cartooning and Fab Face Freak-Out.

His cartooning has also led him to appear as ‘Cartoon Dave’ on Disney Channel, with his popular cartooning segment, The Big Doodle and a craft segment, Get Crafty, as well as regular scribblings in Disney Adventures Magazine.

More recently Dave has ventured into writing novels – UFO (Unavoidable Family Outing), UFO in the USA and UFO Afloat – and a picture book called Norman Enormous.

Dave lives in the Blue Mountains with his wife, children and a small hairy dog.
