Sofie Laguna

Sofie Laguna is an author, actor, and playwright who originally studied to be a lawyer.

The award-winning author has been published in the US and the UK and in translation in Europe and Asia.

Sofie’s first young adults novel, Bird and Sugar Boy, was named Honour Book by the Children’s Book Council of Australia in 2007.

Sofie’s first novel for adults, One Foot Wrong (Allen & Unwin), was long-listed for the Miles Franklin Award 2009 and short listed for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award.
