Novella Writing Competition

All state winners will be awarded cash prizes. Winning manuscripts will receive personalised advice from Penguin Group (Australia). Accompanying the monetary prize will be a full editorial report on the National winning manuscript, courtesy of Penguin Group (Australia). 

State winners will have the opportunity to attend the Somerset Celebration of Literature, be billeted with members of the Somerset Wordsmith's Club and attend the Literary Dinner, where the national winner will be officially announced. This decision will be at the discretion of the competition organisers. The competition is open to ALL current secondary students attending school in Australia.

Entries for this competition closed Wednesday 30 November 2011. Click on the links below to download copies of the information poster and the entry form. The National Novella Writing Competition will take on the same format in 2013, so now is the time to start considering your entries and promoting this competition to students and friends. Entries open mid-2012.
