Novella Writing Competition

All state winners will be awarded cash prizes. Winning manuscripts will receive personalised advice from Penguin Group (Australia). Accompanying the monetary prize will be a full editorial report on the National winning manuscript, courtesy of Penguin Group (Australia). 

State winners will have the opportunity to attend the Somerset Celebration of Literature, be billeted with members of the Somerset Wordsmith's Club and attend the Literary Dinner, where the national winner will be officially announced. This decision will be at the discretion of the competition organisers. The competition is open each year to all current secondary students attending school in Australia.
