Sue Lawson is passionate about writing, reading and encouraging young people to develop a love for both.
Sue was a teacher and radio announcer/producer, but now spends her time writing for children and young adults. When she’s not writing, Sue teaches, leads writing workshops and goes to the footy with her daughter.

Sue’s books include  the popular Diva Series, CBC notable books Tessa, Ferret Boy and My Gran’s Different and junior fiction novel, Dragon’s Tear.

Sue’s first book for an older audience, Allie McGregor’s True Colours won The 2007 Australian Family Therapists’ Award for Children’s Literature.

Sue’s next book, Finding Darcy, will be released by Black Dog Books in May, 2008.
