Activities

School Musicals

The musicals are a major production for the school and rehearsals for the Senior production are held on Wednesday 1.05 pm and Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.  The performance is early in Term 3.  Additional rehearsals are required close to production.  A musical camp occurs during Term 2 for a weekend.  The Junior production (for Years 6/7) rehearses on a Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm with the performance at the end of Term 1 or early Term 2.

Drama

The Drama Department offers many opportunities for the pupils to participate in extra curricular activities.  These include the House Play Festival held at the end of Term 1, the Drama Festival held in Term 3 for Year 8, Years 9/10 and Years 11/12 (Directors audition at the beginning of the year).

Somerset Festival for Young Performers

Each year, the College holds its Festival for Young Performers.  This festival is designed to allow pupils to perform in a non-threatening environment and to be exposed to public performance.  Information regarding the festival is available from the Junior School and Reception.

Concert Series

Performers In Training Series (PITS)

These concerts are designed to allow senior pupils to play publicly and become adept at the techniques used for performance within a friendly atmosphere.  They are held in the early evening on the last Tuesday of each term.

Junior Instrumental Concerts

These concerts are held twice a year to allow our Junior School pupils the opportunity to gain performance practice.
