The Library's resources are available to
the whole school community between the hours of 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to
Friday.
After school (3.20 pm to 5.00 pm.) the Library is available to all pupils from Year 4 to Year 12 for private study. Pupils from the Early Education Class to Year 3, when accompanied by an adult, are welcome to use the Library after school.
All resources can be borrowed through the automated library system. Borrowing rights can be restricted at the discretion of the Teacher Librarian. The usual period for borrowing is two weeks after which time if an item has not been returned an overdue notice is generated and delivered to the pupil via their House Tutor or Classroom Teacher
Some items are at times placed on restricted borrowing and may only be used in the Library or away from the Library on an overnight basis (borrowed after school and returned before classes the next day).
Most periodicals are on closed access but are available upon request for use within the Library and for overnight borrowing.
