Introducing the Junior School

Reflecting over my years on the staff of Somerset College, I continue to be moved by the spirit of adventure, excitement and commitment in our pursuit of an excellent education for the precious students in our care.

Somerset is, in essence, a community that cares, shows tolerance and understanding and offers wonderful opportunities to all its students. With the dedication of a truly committed staff, I am optimistic that we can continue to provide a safe and supportive environment where children are nurtured, in order that they can develop their unique gifts and talents. Hand in hand with the academic curriculum, Somerset provides an extensive programme of personal development, pastoral care and co-curricular involvement, which ensures a well-rounded and inclusive education for each individual.

In close partnership with the parents of the College, the staff works towards providing optimal opportunities for each individual student as we journey into the new century.
