Risa is a business management and journalism student who first became interested in entrepreneurship after publishing her own children’s picture book in 2015. She later gained experience in the Brisbane startup ecosystem as a marketing officer before travelling to Singapore to work in youth development as an entrepreneurship facilitator.
Risa now works at the University of Queensland’s pre-incubator Idea Hub which provides entrepreneurship programs to aspiring student entrepreneurs. Risa’s role as an ambassador and facilitator involves visiting high schools to support students in developing entrepreneurship skills.
