Last week saw the College celebrate the upcoming festive season with the Christmas Service. Throughout this service, the musicians of the College display their Christmas spirit through music, the choirs singing and the band playing.
Charlotte Roche commenced the service with a beautiful solo which was followed by an anthem from the Men’s Chorus. The service proper was heralded by the singing of Once in Royal David’s City which was led by a solo by Sam Jay. The Cool Cats, Melodic Mynas, Junior Chorale, Girls’ Choir, Vocal Group and Show Choir all presented anthems which were interspersed amongst the traditional lessons and carols. The concert band accompanied the carols and providing a rousing Christmas medley to complete the evening.
