After two successful weeks of 1 on 1 football training, Somerset Football has started with small group training under the stage 1 Covid Restrictions. This stage will conclude until the end of this term.

New restrictions mean we can train in groups of nine players per coach. The teams who have started with small group training are the students from the Somerset Spartans Football Club, and the students from Future XI.

The Somerset Spartans Football Club currently has a total of 72 students, all these students are in the Junior School. With help from our football staff, each student can train twice a week. Some teams train in the morning, and other teams in the afternoon. After weeks of isolated training all students have been very happy to play again with their mates.

The Future XI exists out of the best players from Years 7, 8 and 9. We have the Future XI Boys, and the Future XI Girls. On Tuesday and Thursday before the students go to class, they have one-hour Football Training. The Senior students have been very happy to be back on the field!
