Congratulations to Darcy Halloran (5P) who competed in the State Cross Country Championships at Maroochydore last weekend. Well done to Harry Powell (5W) who travelled to Cairns during the holidays for the State Under 12 Hockey Championships.
Darcy finished 18th overall and was the first-placed finisher from South Coast region to cross the line in the Under 10 age group. In the relay event, Darcy’s ran an incredible 'first leg' for the South Coast team, which allowed them to earn the bronze medal. What a wonderful effort!
Harry's region for Hockey, South Coast finished second in the tournament. Harry had a busy holiday, also travelling to Mackay to compete in the Under 13 state titles.
