Last year, Luke and Luke won the 2017 Winter Season Inter- Club Section three competition and were promoted to Section 2 for the 2018 Summer Competition.
The Section 2 finals were played last Saturday and the two Luke's were up against the undefeated Currumbin Cougars, whom they went on to soundly defeat. The Luke's won their doubles match 6-5 (after a tie-break) and then won each of their singles matches 6-0 and 6-1 and now seek promotion again next season.

Junior Netball Skills (Year 4 to 6)
Occur every Wednesday from 7:15-8:15 a.m. on the Outside Ray Netball Courts. It is great to see the numbers at these sessions increasing every week! This will re-commence back in Week 2 Term Two.
A reminder that Junior School Class Swimming Lessons for Prep to Year 5 are compulsory for all students all throughout the year. If a child is unable to swim for any reason, they must bring a note from home and pass it onto to the classroom teacher or swimming instructor.
The College has a wonderful swimming pool facility which offers a year-round swimming environment. We would love for each and every student in the Junior School would relish and enjoy the opportunity to learn basic water survival skills needed to keep themselves safe in the water and utilise the quality precinct.
All policies and procedures are outlined in the Senior School Sport page of Schoolbox, under “Sport Policy and Dates”. All students and parents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these.
Please note, practices are compulsory for both Winter and Summer Seasons.
Hinterland Trials are for strong performers to trial for representative selection in school sport. These lead to Regional and State teams.
Students wanting to trial for these teams, must email or come to the Sports Department ASAP. All trials are listed on the Sports Page of Schoolbox (“Representative Sport” tile) and announced in Notices during the week.
Every day at 7.00am to 8.15am
