Sunday 19 March saw the first of our Sunday at Somerset Concert Series take place. This concert series is organised to give our students the opportunity to perform pieces they have been working on in front of an audience of friendly supporters.
On Sunday, we had over 50 performers brave the inclement weather to tread the boards and give their performances. What better way could one spend a wet Sunday afternoon than watching our stars of the future? Commencing at 4.30pm and with three venues running, audiences were treated to performances on piano, cello and flute as well as monologues and dance.
Thanks must go to all the performers and their teachers (Mrs Helen Little, Ms Alicia John, Ms Catherine Lee, Miss Sarah Quigley, and Ms Melissa Parkinson) for their work in preparation for these performances.
These concerts will take place on the last Sunday of each term and will only ever run for approximately one hour. We will just continue to add venues to accommodate our performers in this time slot. Well done to all!
