The Most Fantastic, Funniest Camp Ever
By Tima Korin, Year 4 Student
I loved all the activities at the Year 4 camp but my favourites were rock climbing and canoeing. Lake Ainsworth was such a beautiful, brilliant place.

Here is a snippet of what the Year 6 Creative Movement showcase looked like, for those who missed the performance on Thursday 16 March. Of course, you need to imagine 111 students performing 50 balance and travel movements in unison to the song ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’.
It sure was beautiful, the students did an amazing job. I’m so proud of them all. Although the balances may look easy, it actually takes a lot of core stability, strength, flexibility and balance to perform these balances. To recall the sequence of movements takes a lot of concentration and focus. Well done Year 6.
We also performed another 30 group creative movement routines with three stages set up, to allow three groups to perform at the same time to allow all students to perform. The Year 4s also performed a fun Flashmob, and we were delighted with Ben Trueman and Peter Osbourne’s juggling routine.
We would love to share our Creative Movement showcase with more people from the Somerset Community, so be sure to keep an eye out for it on the calendar in the upcoming years.« Back to IndexNext article in this edition »
