History was made at the Grand Finals of the Junior School Inter-House Tennis Tournament recently.

Veivers Girls won for the first time ever! The Year 6 team of Riley Davenport and Jennifer Yeung defeated Andrews Year 5 girls Tatiana Leon and Alice Jones in a close and thrilling match.

The Laver Year 5 Boys’ Team of Jack Newman and Luke Shirley made history when they defeated Franklin’s James Thompson and Justin Hammett in a fantastic game of sizzling serving, fabulous forehands, brilliant backhands and fast and furious volleys.

The two Houses will now be plaqued on the fabulous old catgut tennis racquet in its wooden frame that is our trophy, reminding students of progress in sport!

Our thanks to Mr Jay Deacon, Mr Andrew Halloran and especially all the umpires and ball boys for your support.
