The Most Fantastic, Funniest Camp Ever
By Tima Korin, Year 4 Student
I loved all the activities at the Year 4 camp but my favourites were rock climbing and canoeing. Lake Ainsworth was such a beautiful, brilliant place.

On Wednesday 24 February the Year 3 Students took part in the Urban Survivor team building workshop. Events were designed to get students active and co-operating in small teams.
Activities included moving across The Common using only a hula hoop and a small step block to avoid touching the ground and collecting an injured tennis ball on stretchers. After having to work as a team they moved onto the physical races. Challenges included push-ups, punches on the boxing bag and a slalom through the cone course.
On completion of these events it came time to get wet! Competitors had to carry a soaked sponge any way they could without using their hands. This resulted in sponges on heads, under chins, under shirts and between elbows. The final challenge involved racing with buckets of water on their heads and transferring the water into waiting buckets. As you can imagine this was one of the most exciting parts of the day!« Back to IndexNext article in this edition »
