This week the Year 5 students created their structure for written component. Personally, I did a persuasive, trying to create awareness of the Australian Indigenous Health circumstances.
This was one of many interesting genres ranging from a formal report to a personal diary entry. Every lunchtime was the brainstorming/designing mentor meeting for groups. For the past week or so we all discussed our interactive component plotting out the basic fundamentals. Now all across Year 5, students are working extremely hard, whether it’s completing components, the outstanding work of the writing, speaking and advertising committees, there’s something for everyone.
