Senior Students Embrace an Opportunity of a Lifetime

In our forthcoming winter vacation, six College students from Year 11 and 12 are heading to the US to attend the 10 day Envision Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC), located in Washington DC and New York. GYLC is a unique leadership development programme that brings together outstanding young people from across the United States and more than 145 countries around the world, to build critical leadership skills in the global context.

An Outright Rowing Win for Veivers

While the first regatta of the season might have kicked off under leaden skies, nothing could dampen the competitive spirit of the 50 rowers who met on Saturday to contest the Roberts Family Trophy. Under instruction from Rowing Queensland Boat Official Mr Stewart McQuade, who yet again generously volunteered his time to explain Regatta rules to new rowers, both novice and established rowers raced in singles, doubles and quads from the Somerset Rowing Shed at Bond University.
