Parents may recall that over the last five years, students in Years 7, 9 and 11 have completed the ACER Wellbeing Survey.
This survey not only examined students’ social-emotional wellbeing but their resilience, attitudes and coping skills; social skills and values; work management and engagement skills; and their perceptions of home and school life, and their community. Further details about the survey can be viewed here: https://www.acer.edu.au/sew
As an ongoing commitment to promoting our students’ wellbeing, we recently asked our current Years 7, 9 and 11 students to complete the survey. Students individually and anonymously answered around 90 online multiple choice questions. We expect the final report to be available next month - a document the Pastoral Leadership Team are sure to find extremely valuable as we further develop our Wellbeing Programme.
The views of parents with children in the Senior School will be formally sought via a survey which will be published shortly. We seek feedback on four broad areas: communication with parents, academic programmes, pastoral care and activities – with about ten questions being asked in each area. We very much welcome your feedback at this time as we plan to improve our service to you and our capacity to support your children.
