During the Celebration of Literature, many performances took place in the quad, despite the occasional mud patch that developed. Among these performances were two groups from our dance classes.
On Wednesday lunchtime, members of the Boys’ Dance class performed a rountine that they initially worked on last year and adapted for this performance. Unfortunately, the routine requires some time on the ground which with the changeable weather, what were pristine white hoodies are probably no longer. In the evening, during the Prologue Party, our advanced jazz class put together a flash mob with some ‘bookogrophy’ fitting in perfectly with our theme with appropriate books from the festival. Starting in various sections, the group came together for the finale, in front of an appreciative crowd. Thanks must go to all the performers and to Ms Melissa Parkinson for putting this together. Well done to all!
