Laver has had a striking term! We continued our ever-growing sense of team spirit with the Inter-House Cross Country Carnival. It was great to see so many people keen to improve on last year’s placings and our massive improvement in participation enabled us to jump to second place this year!

We were so proud to see Laverites go on to represent Laver and the College at the APS Cross Country Competition. In addition, the Laver participation in the APS teams was amazing this season. The Inter-House Athletics Carnival is early next term and well done to everyone who has already involved themselves by filling teams, training hard and being supportive.

It was also a big term for Laver in the Performing Arts and Academics. Many Laverites were involved in the Musical Camp and the recent Wordsmiths Retreat. We all hit the books in the middle of term for exams and we wish everyone the best in their results. Also during this term, Laver 8 were the lucky winners of the PC Ice-cream Party and Years 7 to 10 ran all over the College looking for clues (and answers) during the Laver PC Quest. Last weekend was the Senior Ball and marked the exact mid-way point for the Year 12 schooling year. The night was an absolute blast and great way to start the final week of the term!

Thanks for Miss Green for stepping in as Head of House this term – we are so grateful!

Just a reminder that (at the time of printing) Laver is currently winning the Arnison Cup competition! Keep it up Laverites!
