Australia is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever been to in my entire life, especially the city of the Gold Coast. It’s very green and what fascinates me the most are the tall buildings near the coast. Also, the people living here are really nice, they always smile and would always help you.

I love the people living in Australia. Also my host family took care of me very well over these two weeks. They made sure I didn't starve and took me to amazing places, like beautiful beaches, the Outback Spectacular and the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, where I had the chance to hold a koala and to pet kangaroos. That was such a great experience that I will never forget. My host family took me stand-up paddle boarding and surfing as well. I wish I could turn back time and live it all again. Also, I became really good friends with my host sister, Marnie. Hopefully we’ll see each other again in Germany!

Furthermore, Australia has such a different culture to Germany. For example the schools are so different to ours. I would love to go to school here at Somerset College. There are trees everywhere and there’s a big swimming pool as well. Also, the classrooms are much better here and the lessons are more relaxed. Now I’m really excited to travel to Cairns and after that to Sydney. I’ll miss the Gold Coast and my host family.
