Year 9 Touch As and Bs have had a successful season. A.B. Paterson and Coomera Anglican College were our toughest competitors but were a good challenge.

Thank you to the amazing cast of Sandy’s Surfers Paradise Adventure – Anna Boone, Tanisha Chadha, Lilly McCoomb, Alex Ggric, Amy Jackson, Jenna Goldie, Georgina Powell and Sarah-Anne Hornsey – for their performance on Friday 24 February at Cavill Avenue as a part of the Surfers Paradise Sand Safari.
Adapted from the children’s book of the same name and directed by Xenavee Goldsmith and Sarah Beaumont, the performance was very successful (although performing barefoot on the hot concrete brought a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘suffering for one’s art’). While in Surfers Paradise, we also visited Somerset’s pop-up library on the beach which is part of the Celebration of Literature.
Further performances of Sandy’s Surfers Paradise Adventure included Villa Serena Home on Friday 3 March and three performances during the Somerset Celebration of Literature including the Prologue Party on Wednesday 15 March. A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone involved with these performances.« Back to IndexNext article in this edition »
