Our Facilities - Now and for the Future

Our facilities are designed to inspire participation, excellence in the teaching and learning experience both within and beyond the classroom. Our campus has evolved over the past years to include state of the art facilities for Sport, Performing Arts, Design and the Junior School, as well as innovative classroom spaces in the Senior School.

In our facilities we have aimed to incorporate examples of best practice, whether that be in technology, environmentally sustainable features or ways that the design assists modern pedagogy: in classroom layout, furnishings and the spaces in which students and teachers interact.

Somerset College is at a mature stage of campus development where new buildings and meeting spaces can be designed to reflect trends in the education space and the corporate world and especially provide opportunities for collaborative human interactions that emerging career skills demand. We see our campus masterplan and built environment as providing a competitive advantage to our students in their studies and sporting experiences, enabling them to perform at the highest level.
