What You Can Do

To cut the ribbons on new buildings and projects, both current and future, Somerset College needs your financial assistance. Such contributions will provide the finest facilities and environment for your student.

The Trustee of The Somerset College Foundation Building Fund has Deductible Gift Recipient status and therefore, all such donations to the Somerset College Foundation Building Fund are tax deductible.

You can:

  • Contribute the Voluntary Building Fund Contribution, detailed on the fee statement, each term.
  • Support the Foundation's fund-raising events and initiatives.
  • Make a donation any time. All donations, both large and small make a difference.
  • Become a member of the Foundation. This is achieved by making tax-deductible donation to the Somerset College Foundation Building Fund in accordance with the Recognition Levels below.

The Recognition Levels for Foundation Membership are as follows:

  • Member: Cumulative donations of $5,000.00 or more
  • Fellow: Cumulative donations of $10,000.00 or more
  • Benefactor: Cumulative donations of $20,000.00 or more
  • Patron: Cumulative donations of $50,000.00 or more

The Foundation is committed to acknowledging the members of the Foundation and the valuable and significant role that they derive in promoting, maintaining and advancing the standards of excellence at Somerset College.

The Fellows, Benefactors and Patrons of the Foundation are distinguished on an Honour Board in The Great Hall.
