Andrew Freeman

Dr Andrew Freeman is a specialist Dermatologist, accredited Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and the owner of The Skin Centre, The Skin Centre Derma Spa and co-owner of BLOC Cosmetics. Dr Freeman was the first Dermatologist based on the Gold Coast to perform Mohs Micrographic Surgery, the gold standard in skin cancer surgery that has the highest cure rate and lowest recurrence rates of any skin cancer treatment. He performs his Mohs Surgery using a custom-built laboratory at both Pindara Private Hospital and Pacific Private Hospital, and is a visiting Dermatologist at Gold Coast University Hospital.

When Dr Freeman is not performing surgery in the hospitals, you can find him at The Skin Centre helping patients of the Gold Coast with their skin concerns and running a specialty Acne Clinic.The Skin Centre is one of only a few full-service dermatology practices in Queensland, providing medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services. The Skin Centre is also proud of its role in helping to find new treatments for dermatological conditions through advanced clinical trials. Fuelled by his passion for skin health and knowledge, Dr Freeman has embarked on the production of a dedicated YouTube channel focused on dermatology - The Urban Dermatologist.
