Somerset's equestrian history goes back to 1983 where tethering your horse at the stable down on the grounds was a common thing. Whilst the stables may have gone, students at Somerset have the opportunity to compete under the Somerset banner through the Equestrian Queensland Inter-schools pathway.

As a sport with a strong role in Somerset's foundation, we look forward to seeing this sport evolve. Students must have their own horse in order to compete for Somerset in Equestrian.
