Somerset College has a vibrant sports programme. All students participate, from Pre-Prep through to Year 12. Along with inter-school sport, internal House competitions are also held; these include the Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnivals.
Welcome to the Somerset Swimming Academy. The Somerset College swimming facility was opened in 1998 and is one of the finest aquatic facilities in our region, now with two heated indoor Learn To Swim pools and our heated outdoor 10 lane 50m Olympic Pool.
With support from the College, coaches and parents, Tennis at Somerset College is flourishing. A growing number of students are participating in Tennis at the College, many of whom are achieving considerable success at local, State and National level.
Somerset offers a broad range of sporting activities for all students, as well as many opportunities to pursue sport at a more elite level. We are a member of the Associated Private Schools competition, a group of eight schools across the Gold Coast.
Somerset Rowing students enjoy the physical and mental benefits of rowing, where they can strive to their own personal best effort whilst being a positive and productive member of the team.
