The Somerset Institute grows from Somerset College and extends our commitment to learning through connections with schools, universities, industry and other partners. At its heart is a simple belief: what we learn should never end with us.
Beyond Ourselves captures the way we want to approach that work. Research starts with curiosity and the questions we have yet to answer. Partnerships connect us with knowledge, experience and perspectives beyond our own. Global Leadership helps us understand ourselves and recognise that others may see, work and lead differently.
As we put that learning into practice, new questions emerge. What worked? What has changed? What do we still not understand? Those questions take us back to Research and keep the cycle of learning moving.
