Somerset College is proud to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of the Class of 2025, with exceptional outcomes across both the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

These results reflect the focus, determination and commitment of our students throughout their senior years, supported by the expertise and dedication of our teaching staff and the strong partnership we share with families.

Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) Results

The Class of 2025 achieved strong results across a broad range of General subjects, demonstrating academic depth and consistency:

  • 18 perfect scores achieved across 12 General subjects
  • Two students achieved 100% across four subjects
  • A strong median subject score of 88% across 28 General subjects
  • 33 QCE Certificates of Academic Commendation awarded
  • 60% of students achieved a grade of A in at least three subjects
  • 95% of students achieved grades of A or B

These results highlight the breadth of achievement across the cohort and reflect a sustained commitment to learning and personal excellence.

Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Results

The 2025 ATAR results demonstrate strong academic performance, with students achieving excellent outcomes at the highest levels

  • Median ATAR: 94.15
  • Three students achieved an exceptional ATAR of 99.95
  • 14% of students achieved an ATAR of 99+
  • 22% achieved an ATAR of 98+
  • 46% achieved an ATAR of 95+
  • 65% achieved an ATAR of 90+
  • 91% achieved an ATAR of 80+

Results are based on 93% of Somerset College Year 12 students who agreed to share or pursue an ATAR.

These outcomes reflect academic rigour, consistency and aspiration, and position our graduates strongly for entry into a wide range of tertiary pathways in Australia and internationally.
