Sunday Singing at Somerset

On Sunday afternoon, in the Towers Quad we held our end of year singing concert for our Somerset College co-curricular singing students. Singing songs from "The Soul of Motown" featuring songs by artists such as Jackson 5, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Stevie Wonder and many more.

Thankfully the weather was on our side with only one shower followed by a clear night. Thank you to all the families and friends who came along to support our singers. We are very proud of all our students for their singing achievements throughout the year. All the performances were outstanding.

2018 Encouragement Award – Rebecca Hodgson (4M)
2018 Most Improved Junior Singer – Abhiraj Sarmah (4F)
2018 Most Improved Intermediate Singer – Hamish Folliott (8 Franklin 5)
2018 Most Improved Senior Singer – William Stoten (12 Veivers 3)
2018 Overall Singing Student of the Year – Karen Yee (12 Laver 10)

Thank you to Mrs Sue Roberts and Mr Stuart Roberts for your support and assistance, to Mrs Josephine Flynn for technical support, Bria Phillips for being our MC, and Maya Hobley for being our sound technician.

We look forward to an exciting new year of singing in 2019.
